           ๐Ÿ›‘ Franchise Rights:- IPL business model is inviting private firm to own franchises. The Indian cricket board could soon get richer by at least Rs 5000 crore with the addition of two new franchises during the 2022 edition of IPL.
            ๐Ÿ›‘ Sponsorships:- BCCI is expected to collect Rs 744 crore from the title and other on-ground sponsors.
       ๐Ÿ†Tittle sponsorship, Vivo will pay Rs 484 crore.
        ๐Ÿ† Estimated Rs 200 crore from the five on-ground partners- Tata Safari,Dream 11, unacademy,Cred and upstox.
         ๐Ÿ†Umpire partner, paytm and strategic time out partner Will bring it another Rs 60 crore.
๐ŸŒ€Media Rights:-
In this revenue distribution model, the BCCI gains revenue from broadcasting and online streamers. As per the contract between BCCI and star, the board received 25% of the media rights payment in FY19 and will receive 18.75% each in the subsequent years. Star India had paid Rs 16347.5 crore to acquire IPL media rights for 5 years till 2022.

How IPL teams make money?

๐ŸฅŽ Ticket sales:
IPL teams get a share of ticket sales if they are the home team for a particular match. Around 10% of the revenue for IPL teams comes from ticket sales
๐Ÿ€ Brand sponsorship:
Franchise partner with brands and offer them visibility by endorsing their logos on their kits. Sponsorship revenues from around 20-30% of revenue for the IPL teams.
๐Ÿ Winning the tournament:
The IPL offers a hefty prize amount which is distributed between the owners and the players of the winning team. According to rules, 50% of the prize amount must go to the players.
⚾Merchandise:
The IPL teams also generate revenue through merchandise sales. T-shirts,caps,Kita and wrist watches of all teams are sold in abundance.
